(Due to some Labor Day vacationing, I'm a bit late on this post, but let's see what's going on for the rest of September, shall we?)

1. Entertainment on Draft - DTLA - Sept 14th

The new Alamo Drafthouse in DTLA is open and ready for you this weekend, the 14th, as they open up the rooftop of their parking lot for a food fest sponsored by Amazon Fire TV.

DJ set by ?uestlove and food by various vendors. There is also a screening of Tastemade's new documentary Funke.

Entrance to the fest is free, but the food & screenings are not gratis.

2. Free Museum Day -- All Over L.A. -- Sept 21st

Smithsonian Magazine is once again sponsoring a one day one event where the entrance fee to local museums is waived.

Now, it's not ALL Los Angeles area museums, but it's a lot.

Some frequently participating locations include: the Grammy Museum, The Museum for Latin American Art, the Hammer museum, and many many more.

3. Abbot Kinney Festival -- Venice -- September 29th

This one is exactly like what you think it might be like:

One part Abbot Kinney bougie goodness, mix in some local hipsters, and then add a good helping of great art, jewelry, collectibles, etc etc etc.

Top it off with 3 beer gardens, live music, and free entrance, and we have ourselves a winner!
