1. Day of the Dead Festival --- Boyle Heights --- 11/2
This FREE festival starts with a procession at Mariachi Plaza and ends at Mendez HS where there will be live music, crafts, games, and food.
My favorite part is the art for sale by up & coming local artists. Support your local arts community!
The festival lasts from 5pm to 10pm.
2. AFI FEST --- Nov 8th - 15th
This is my choice for the best festival in the Los Angeles area...although LAFF is a close second.
AFI Fest has become a premiere launching pad for new filmmakers -- many from the eponymous school -- as well as a place where Oscar contenders go to start earning their stripes for Award Season.
This lasts a full week and primarily centers around the Arclight in Hollywood.
Check out their site below for the schedule of events and tickets.
3. Woofstock 2018 -- Beverly Hills -- 11/4
Don't miss this annual pet extravaganza, presented by the City of Beverly Hills’ Community Services Department. Woofstock 90210 is an exciting, day-long festival for dogs and their owners, featuring:
--Pet adoptions/rescues hosted by Pets 90210 --35+ pet-related vendors --Food trucks --Pet Parade (registration required) --Pet & people face and body painting (nominal charge) --Live entertainment for pets and people --Free parking at Beverly Hills High School with pet-friendly shuttles to the park --Local veterinarians on-site --Pet Emergency preparedness information
