A connected kitchen?

Normally, I find these infographics useful (or at least interesting), however, this new one put out by Realtor Magazine is bad news bears.
While a "connected kitchen" sounds like a forward thinking idea, technology is changing at such a rapid pace that the second you're done with your renovation, the tech portion will be almost obsolete.
We can ditch our phones for the latest and greatest every couple of years, that's not too big of a headache and/or expense...
...but our kitchens? Not so much.
Stick with clean, timeless renovations that never go out of style...or at least don't go out of style by the end of the year!
