Why do people remodel?
According to the National Association of Realtors, most people just want newer/better amenities, or they're having to replace older components anyway.
Interestingly, not many people remodel to get they're home ready for resale. And that's smart.
It's one thing to "flip" a distressed property; but, you can waste a ton of money updating your home, and then turning off buyers if they don't like your specific taste.
